Tim Keyes Consort

I owe so much to my first mentor in music, Tim Keyes. Through working with him and his incredible orchestra, the Tim Keyes Consort, I was afforded the privilege of hearing my own music. TKC debuted my first major composition, Short and Suite, at Richardson Auditorium, Princeton, NJ, on June 12, 2010.

Worlds Slipped Through the Cracks (2015)

A book of 10 short pieces for the intermediate pianist.

Koyo (2014)

For solo piano, my thesis from my undergraduate music degree.

Thoughts on Creativity, Music & Design

I draw a lot of design inspiration from classical music composition. Here's a conversation with Jack O'Donoghue, where we explore the overlaps between music, design, psychology & creativity.

14:27 • Art vs. design, amateurs & pros, the motive to create

20:43 • Design Thinking, different conditions for creativity

29:26 • 3-stage creative process, the psychology of flow

40:27 • Thinking Fast & Slow, aha moments & tunnel vision

53:11 • Music composition principles applied to UX design
