My oldest passion is music. I was obsessed with the violin from a young age and blessed to have dedicated parents who nurtured my curiosity. I grew up playing many instruments, composing for orchestras, and generally being the “classical music guy”.
An incredible high school teacher blew my mind and inspired my interest in psychology. I didn't discover UX Design until after graduating from Duke with a double major in Music Composition and Psychology and moving to Australia.
After an existential debate about my career, place in the world, yada yada, I made the intense decision to walk away from (my attempts at) composing music as a profession. I took a risk on a 10-week General Assembly UX Design Immersive in Melbourne, and immediately fell in love with the craft. UX design has been my professional life since.
Since the pandemic, I have relocated back stateside to NYC, earned a UX Certification from NN/g, and joined the ranks at Amalgam Rx, where I now work full-time enjoying the controlled chaos of start-up life and cutting my teeth in the colossal world of healthcare.

I currently apply UX methodologies to enable better healthcare decisions in chronic disease care via regulated SaMD & DTx products and EHR solutions
I have spent 10 years designing products and services tailored to meet different cultural, geographical, and linguistic needs of users around the world
My previous role at isobar was focused on enterprise-level strategy and design for client-side and server-side optimization tests
The majority of the projects I've designed have involved personalization. At Sportsbet, I was the lead UX designer for the (40+ member) Personalization Team
I have been responsible for the research and design of dozens of projects, for both customer-facing and B2B products & services
I have planned and led dozens of Design Thinking workshops of all shapes and sizes, the largest for 250+ participants
